Golden Honey Happy Birthday Card

Good morning everyone,

Well we have woken up this morning to a slightly calmer day, there's a small amount of blue sky and no rain... so it's  a winner right now! Haha. Whether it stays that way or not is yet to be seen!!!

Today I have a really great card for you..... super quick and I used up a lot of scraps. The DSP is the FREE Sale a Bration paper - Golden Honey, which is speciality gold foiled and AMAZING, coloured with blends gives it a completely different look.

Measurements

Basic black cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"
1pc - scrap for sentiment

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - scrap for sentiment

Golden Honey Speciality DSP
1pc - 2" x 5 7/8"

Pacific Point cardstock
1pc - 2 1/8" x 5 7/8"

Crushed Curry cardstock
1pc - 2 1/4" x 5 7/8"

Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
1pc - 2 3/8" x 5 7/8"

Call Me Clover Cardstock
1pc - 2 1/2" x 5 7/8"

Create your cardbase by folding the basic black cardstock along the score line and add the whisper white panel to the inside. Then startingwith the call me clover cardstock, layer all the cardstock strips onto the centre of the card front.

Take a selection if Stampin Blends and colour in diagonal lines of the hexagons on the Golden Honey Speciality DSP. Be careful when colouring as the colour can bleed a little if you are too heavy handed with you pen. Add this panel to the card front.

Finally create the sentiment panel by stamping the sentiment from Piece of cake stamp set onto a scrap of whisper white, layer onto some basic black and add to the card front.

Here's a list of all the supplies I used in today's card, click on the images to head over to my online store.
