Painted Glass Gold Embossed Gift Box

Good morning everyone,

Hope you are all well. Today the rain seems to have stopped for the first time in what seems like Forever!! I hope it lasts! Hahaha.

Today's project is this super simple gift box, decorated with a gold embossed image. I didn't feel this needed much extra other than a small pearl in the centre. It measures  2 1/4" all round so it's a great size for a wide variety of goodies.

Measurements

Very vanilla Cardstock
1pc - 9 1/2" x 7 1/4"

Take your Very Vanilla cardstock and score along the following
Long side - 2 1/4", 4 1/2", 6 3/4" & 9"
Short side - 2 1/4", 4 1/2" & 6 3/4"

Place the cardstock down so you have a thin section to the left and a thin section towards the top. Then rub your embossing buddy over the whole piece of cardstock. Now stamp your images into the centre of the following squares with versamark ink.

Sprinkle over Gold embossing powder and using your heat tool melt the powder to set. Be careful not to focus on one area for too long as this can warp you card and make the box out of shape. Once cooled carefully fold and burnish all the score lines. Then cut away so that you are left with a shape like this..

Round the edges of the top most section and add a thumb noth to the aecond panel from the right, being careful not to cut away at the image. Now add tear and tape to the tab and fold round to adhere to the back of the opposite side. Fold in the back, sides and adhere the front panel down at the bottom, creating your base. You can then close the lid at the top.

Finally add a small gold metallic pearl to the centre of each image.
