Strong & Beautiful Happy Mother's Day Card

Good Evening Everybody

It's Friday, yippee!! Hope you all have some great plans for the weekend - we have a quiet one planned, Imogen hasnt been feeling too well over the past few days so we will be taking it easy!

Today I have this gorgeous Mother's Day card, which I made using the Strong and Beautiful Stamp Set and Beautiful Promenade.

Measurements

Highland Heather Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4 , scored at 5 7/8"

Gorgeous Grape Cardstock
1pc - 5 1/2" x 3 3/4"

Smoky Slate Cardstock
1pc - 5 1/4" x 3 1/2"

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Create your card base by folding the highland heather along the score line and add the whisper white panel to the inside and the Gorgeous Grape Cardstock to the card front.

Take the two smaller flower clusters from petal promenade and stamp around the edges if the smoky slate in Basic Gray ink. Once the ink is dry, colour the flowers and foliage with your Stampin Blends - I used Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Highland Heather.

Stamp the two sentiments in the centre of this cardstock piece using Basic Gray ink.

Add this to the card front and then scatter a few pearls on the front.

Painted Glass Gold Embossed Gift Box

Good morning everyone,

Hope you are all well. Today the rain seems to have stopped for the first time in what seems like Forever!! I hope it lasts! Hahaha.

Today's project is this super simple gift box, decorated with a gold embossed image. I didn't feel this needed much extra other than a small pearl in the centre. It measures  2 1/4" all round so it's a great size for a wide variety of goodies.

Measurements

Very vanilla Cardstock
1pc - 9 1/2" x 7 1/4"

Take your Very Vanilla cardstock and score along the following
Long side - 2 1/4", 4 1/2", 6 3/4" & 9"
Short side - 2 1/4", 4 1/2" & 6 3/4"

Place the cardstock down so you have a thin section to the left and a thin section towards the top. Then rub your embossing buddy over the whole piece of cardstock. Now stamp your images into the centre of the following squares with versamark ink.

Sprinkle over Gold embossing powder and using your heat tool melt the powder to set. Be careful not to focus on one area for too long as this can warp you card and make the box out of shape. Once cooled carefully fold and burnish all the score lines. Then cut away so that you are left with a shape like this..

Round the edges of the top most section and add a thumb noth to the aecond panel from the right, being careful not to cut away at the image. Now add tear and tape to the tab and fold round to adhere to the back of the opposite side. Fold in the back, sides and adhere the front panel down at the bottom, creating your base. You can then close the lid at the top.

Finally add a small gold metallic pearl to the centre of each image.

Piece of Cake Happy Birthday Card

Good Afternoon everyone,

Happy Monday, it's a very miserable day today, so I think we will stay in and keep warm!! How about you?

Today I have made this cute birthday card, it's simple and quick but equally as pretty!

Measurements

Crumb Cake Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 3"

Real Red cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 2 3/4"

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 2 1/2"
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Create your card base by folding the Crumb Cake Cardstock along the score line and add the larger piece of whisper white to the inside. Layer up the real red onto the flirty flamingo cardstock and adhere to the centre of the card front.

On the remaining piece of whisper white, stamp three cake stands, and a cake on each end in memento, then add the Happy Birthday cake on the centre stand in flirty flamingo ink. Then go back with memento and add the toppers to all three cakes. Once dry, colour in with a selection of Stampin Blends.

Love What You Do Thank You Card. Share it on a Sunday #3

Happy Sunday Folks,

Yes, it's  sunday so that means it's  Share it on a Sunday!! Myself and two of my amazing friends and colleagues are brining you another share today. This week we have decided to use the same stamp set - Love What You Do. We all have very different crafting styles and thought it would be fun to show you three different ways to use one stamp set. I'll show you  how I created my card, then there will be links to Crafty Karen Designs and Taffy Crafting so you can check out their projects.

Measurements

Smoky slate cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Whisper White Cardstock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 3 1/4" x 1 7/8"
1pc - 1 1/8" x 2 1/8"
Scraps

Petal Pink Cardstock
1pc - 3 3/8" x 2"
1pc - 1 1/4" x 2 1/4"

On one of the 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and rub over with your embossing buddy. Then using versamark ink cover the piece with the flower image. Sprinkle over with silver embossing powder, and heat set to the powder becomes shining and smooth. Also stamp one onto some scrap and repeat the process.

Also heat set the thank you in the same way on the smallest piece of whisper white. Layer this onto the petal pink.

Once these are completely cooled, colour in the flower heads with the light petal pink blend. Ypu have to be careful not to get it on the silver otherwise it dulls it. Fussy cut the three heads stamped onto scraps.

Add this large panel to a card front, the base made  from folding the smoky slate along the score line. Stamp the flower to the bottom of the remaining large piece add the petal pink to the heads and add this to the inside of the card front.

Then stamp the flower onto the remaining piece of whisper white and colour, then add the flowers which need to be fussy cut from the scrpa with dimensionals. Layer this to the card front and add the thank you Sentiment off to one side.
