Well the weather has taken a turn today and its very over cast and much cooler, so I reckon we will be stopping in for most of tge day, although we are going to my mums for tea which will be nice.
My card today is for another challenge, this time it's a colour challenge on Hall about Stamping. Louisa is a fellow team member of Team Scrimpy and an awesome crafter. This week this colour challenge is Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral and So Saffron.
On a piece of whisper white cardstock that measure 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" we need to atamp the backgroup. I used the small flowers image from delightful day, but any small imahe would work. In Calypso Coral stamp approx 1/3rd of the paper, make sure you are not left with a straight line at the end though. Next do the same for thw next third, but stamp off once before you stamp, and yes you guessed it, stamp off twice for the remaining section. This gives a great Ombre look.
Add this panel to a card base you have made from so saffron cardstock and add a panel of whisper white to the inside.
Cut a length of white flax ribbon and add banner tails, then colour using your flirty flamingo blends. Its really important to do the gently and softly with the side as not to damage the tip of the pen. Add this to the centre of the card with a little bit of snail in to middle.
On a scrap piece of whisper white stamp the sentime t on flirty flamingo and trim. Then layer onto a piece of flirty flamingo and then so saffron, increasing in 1/4" increments each piece. Pop dimensionals on the back and place over the ribbon, making sure you cover the section underneath that you snailed.
