Beautiful You Brighter Days to Come Aperture Greeting Card

Good Morning Everyone,

How are you all doing with the heat?? It's been so nice during the day but I'll be honest, I've struggled on a night!! But I'm not going to knock it, it's been so nice to have what feels like a summer!!!

Today my card is for a sketch challenge on Crafty Stamping Club - Smith's Crafty Creations on facebook.

Measurements

Mossy Meadow Cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 3/4" x 5 5/8"

Take your magnolia lane dsp and cut out a the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies. Cut out in the centre towards the top, this will ensure tou have enough space below for your sentiment. Add lots of snail to the back of the DSP then line up the oval dies with the cut out section as below, then run through the die cutting machine to create the aperture.

Now add the whisper white panel to the inside of the card, thwn fold and burnish your mossy meadow card base really well. Stamp the image in the aperture space onto the white card behind. Doing it this way ensures you have it in the right place.

Colour in the image with blends, then on the remaining stripof whisper white, stamp the sentiment in the centre, then add the strip to the bottom of the card.

Here's a list of all the supplies I used in today's card, click on the images to head over to my online store
