It's your time to shine Daisy Lane Card

Good afternoon everyone,

So how have you been coping with this weather... it's been a shock after those long hot days... but It's definitely been needed.

Today I have a card that I made for a challenge over on Hall About Stamping. We were simply asked to make a square card. So here's what I came up with.....

Measurements

Sahara Sand Cardstock
1pc - 11 x 5 1/2"
1pc - 3 7/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 2 3/8" x 2 3/8"

Very Vanilla Cardstock
2pc - 5 1/4" x 5 1/4"
1pc - 3 5/8" x 3 5/8"
1pc - 2 1/4" x 2 1/4"
Scraps for the daisy

Create your card base from the largest piece of sahara sand and add one of the very vanilla 5 1/4" square piece to the inside.

Using a tiny bit of snail, adhere the 3 5/8" x 3 5/8" piece onto the 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" piece. Make sure it is centralised.

Now ink up the leaf image and stamp over all of the cardstock, do t worry about the missing ink where the paper overlaps, it will get covered.

Carefully peel off the small panel, and layer onto the larger sahara sand piece, then stick this back onto the large stamped piece. Now make sure you adhere this down so the images follow on from each other

Add the sentiment to the bottom of the remaining very vanilla cardstock, then layer onto the Sahara sand. Place this in the centre of the card.

On scraps of very vanilla stamp two large daisies and two medium daisies in so saffron ink. Punch all of these out using the coordinating punches. Curl the petals of the larger flower inwards and the offset layer together to give a full flower, then do the same with the smaller ones, but curl outwards. Adhere the small one inside the larger one. Colour a clear faceted gem with the Dark Pumpkin Pie blend and add to the centre. Add this above the sentiment.
