Subtle Sympathy Card using Stampin Up Supplies. Number 70 of #100things

Happy Saturday Everyone,

I hope you have an awesome day planned. We are having a good clean and then we are decorating the house for Christmas! I love this time of year.

Unfortunately, I had to make a sympathy card this week to give to a friend who has lost someone dear to them. I wanted to share it with you as Its soft, subtle and pretty - so quick to make.

Measurements:

Very Vanilla Cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4, scored at 4 1/8"
1pc - 3" x 4 1/4"

Soft Suede Cardstock
1pc - 3 1/8" x 4 3/4"

Take the large piece of Very Vanilla and create your card base, burnish well. Ink up the post script background stamp in Crumb cake and stamp this over the front of the card. Then ink the same ink, sponge the edges.

Next, ink up the floral bunch form the Wishing you Well stamp set and stamp onto the small piece of very vanilla, keeping the image towards the top. Bear in mind that this piece will be angled, so stamp the image straight on the card when it is angled. Sponge the edges with Crumb cake ink also.

On a scrap piece of very vanilla stamp the bow and the sentiment in Mint Macaron and fussy cut out. Sponge the sentiment piece then layer onto a piece of soft suede and fussy cut to leave a nice border.

Bring in the card base and adhere the soft suede piece at an angle in the centre of the card, then do the same with the very vanilla panel, but in the opposite direction, so you can see some of the soft suede card underneath.

Add the sentiment and the bow to the card using dimensionals.

To finish, add pearls to the bunch.
