Dashing Along Half Pinwheel Christmas Decoration. Number 76 of #100things

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I have a beautiful Christmas tree decoration for you today, I know I used the Dashing Along Paper yesterday - but I wanted to show you how versatile it is, and how each paper is so beautifully different. These are so Easy to make once you have mastered one!!

How great do these look on the tree!!

Take a piece of DSP that measures 12" x 2" and place in the simply scored. Score at every 1/2" across the 12" side.

Concertina fold the whole piece and then burnish really well with the bone folder.

Flip the DSP over and add adhesive to the end pieces and run a scrap of Cherry Cobbler along the adhesive.

Bring to opposite side round and adhere to the cherry cobbler cardstock, lining the DSP up along the other, this will make the piece pop up, so I put my bone folder on it to hold it down. Add adhere to the sections as below ond then fold over to join the cherry cobbler cardstock.

Flip over the half pinwheel and add adhesive as shown below and fold the pinwheel against it to join together. This should give you a sturdy flat bottom.

Punch two holes at the top and run through some twine to hang it.

On a scrap piece of Whisper White stamp the seasons greetings sentiment and the bow from Wishing you wells tamp set in Garden Green. Fussy cut out and add the bow to the bottom of the pinwheel, Layer the sentiment onto some scrap DSP and add to the centre of the decoration.

Here's a list of all the supplies I used today, click on the images to head over to my online store.
