I hope you all had a great weekend, I had a great one busy, but fun!!
Today I have a beautiful soft card using the Icing on the Cake stamp set. If I'm honest I haven't seen a whole load of people use this set, but I love it - Here's the card I made:-
Measurements:-
Blushing Bride Cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"
Highland Heather Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 3 5/8" x 3 5/8"
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
Using the long strip of icing stamp, cover the whole piece of the highland heather cardstock in highland heather ink. Add this layer to card base made from the blushing bride. Glue the large whisper white panel to the inside.
Take the smaller strip of the icing and stamp in blushing bride around the edges of the smaller piece of whisper white, be careful to line this up well as it is a snug fit. Round the corners using the detailed trio punch and then add this to the card front towards the top.
On a scrap piece of paper stamp the happy and birthday sentiments in blushing bride and fussing cut. layer these onto a piece of blushing bride and cut close to leave a small border around the words. Add these to the card below the panel.
Take a few more scraps and stamp the flowers and leaves. These are a two step stamp so you have a solid image and a more detailed stamp. Start with the solid image and blushing bride stamped off once, then cover with the detailed stamp in 'full strength' ink. Repeat this process three times for the flowers and three times for the leaves with Granny Apple Green ink. Fussy cut these and with dimensionals arrange in the centre of the whisper white panel.
Finally add some pearl jewel embellishments. Put a large one in each cover, then a medium one half way between the large ones. Place a small one to each side.
Here's a list of all the supplies I used today, If you would like to recreate it but don't have everything click on the images and head over to my online store.
