Good Afternoon Everyone.
Today I'm taking part in a brand new weekly hop run by Crafty Collaborations. Each week we are asked to create a project focusing on a particular colour from Stampin' Up! This week it's the wonderful Copper Clay.
I've used the Earthen Elegance DSP along with the Sending Smiles stamp set and coordinating dies to create a simply, yet lovely Birthday Card.
Measurements

Earthen Elegance DSP

Take the Copper Clay Card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the Very Vanilla to the inside and the DSP to the card front.
On scraps of Very Vanilla stamp the flower head and the stem & leaf images in Copper Clay
Bring in your Cut & Emboss machine and using the Sending Dies cut the stamped images along with
1x word 'Sending' in Very Vanilla
1x word silhouette in Copper Clay
1x small banner in Very Vanilla
Layer up the word and the silhouette pieces.
Stamp the 'Birthday Wishes' onto the small banner and very lightly add some Copper Clay ink and your blending brush.
Using the 2 3/8" circle punch cut out a Vellum & a Very Vanilla circle. Add some Copper Clay ink to the edges of the Very Vanilla Circle - fir this one you can afford to get quite dark with it.
Now arrange all your pieces onto the card from and make sure you are happy with your arrangement. Sit the vellum circle over the very vanilla card and pop a little glue to secure the vellum down, make sure you add this under where you are placing the flower head - meaning that no adhesive can be seen. Then stick down all the other elements.
I hope you enjoyed my card today - I really enjoyed making a Monochromatic card using Copper Clay - I'll be honest I don't think I would have thought to do so if it weren't for this challenge. Why not head over to Instagram and check out all the other creations - www.instagram.com
