Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Saturday!
As it's the first Saturday of the month us ladies in The Project Share Project are hopping together to give you some more crafty inspiration. Our theme for January is 'Simple Stamping'.
Now I think this looks so much more than Simple Stamping but that's the brilliance of the Enduring Beauty stamp set. It's a large outline stamp filled with beautiful flowers and lots of leaves. Here I have stamp the image twice - once at each edge of the paper, allowing it to go off the card, leaving enough room to stamp the two word sentiment. Then a simple colour with two tones of pink for the flowers and two green tones for the leaves.
Measurements
Flirty Flamingo Card Stock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4" scored at 5 7/8"
Basic Black Card Stock
1pc - 4" x 5 3/4"
Basic White Card Stock
2pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
-----------------------
Take the Flirty flamingo card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base adding one of he basic white piece to the inside.
Ink up the large floral image from Enduring Beauty and stamp along the short edge on either side, leaving space in the centre, large enough to fit the sentiment.
Add the words 'Happy' & 'Birthday' to the centre of the card.
Now using your Stampin Blends colour in the images. I didn't do any fancy colouring, I just used a darker shade and picked out the definition line with a darker shade then filled in the rest of the space with a lighter tone. I used Flirty Flamingo & Sweet Sorbet for the flowers and Shaded Spruce & Granny Apple Green. You could use the light and dark of the same colour, but I wanted a bigger contrast between them.
Layer this panel to the Basic Black card and then add to the centre of the card front!
Super easy, definitely Simple Stamping and I thoroughly enjoyed making this! It would look amazing in so many colourways!
