Thanks for All the Wonderful Things Off Set Gate Fold Card using the Regency Park Suite. Touches of Ink Blog Hop. February 2023

 Good Evening Everyone

Today I'm blog hopping with the fabulous Touches of Ink ladies. We do this once a month, and it's our chance to share a creation using a Bundle or a Suite from Stampin Up!

I've chosen the Regency Park Suite - I just absolutely love it. So versatile and the colours in the DSP are just gorgeous. Using an Off Set Gate Fold, I've added extra interest to a very simple card. what do you think?

-----------------------------------

Take the Night of Navy card stock and score at 3 7/8", then rotate the card stock 180 degrees and score at 2" - I found this the easiest way to get the measurement right without faffing around with tiny increments.

Fold the card along the score lines and burnish well with your bone folder. Folding both edges towards the centre. The edges should meet off centre towards the left.

Add the Basic White Panel to the inside and the two DSP panels the outside of the 'Doors'. Having the smaller 'Door' to the left

Layer up the remaining piece of DSP to the Starry Sky mat and then add adhesive to the back, but only cover half of the right hand side. Close the 'Doors' of your card and add this panel so it sits centrally. It will cover quite a bit of the right hand side, and a little over on the left.

On a scrap of basic white stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy ink and cut out using the Straight label from the Sentimental Dies making sure that the sentiments are as far over to the left as you can, also cut the larger decorative label from Night of Navy Card stock. Layer these together, tucking the bottom right into the die below - leaving to top left over the top. Add then onto the overlapping panel.

Stamp the Flower cluster from Sentimental Park in Petal Park, adding some mango melody and Night of Navy to the centres using  stampin write markers - to replicate the floral design on the DSP. Cut this out using the coordinating die.

Using the stem and leaf die, cut out one in Shaded Spruce card stock.

Add the flowers with dimensionals and the stem with liquid glue to the card front. Trimming the stem so it stops by the bottom edge of the centre panel.

I really hope you have enjoyed my card and will give it a go yourself. Please do continue through the hop to get lots more inspiration. Visit Simone next to see what she has created for today's hop.
