So, my project today Is for this week's Creative Colour Challenges combo, which is fabulous.
I have used the Treasured Kindness stamp set to create some really cute 4x4" Thank You note cards.
Measurements
Tahitian Tide Card Stock
1pc - 4" x 8", scored at 4"
Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
1pc - 2 1/2" x 2 3/4"
Garden Green Card Stock
1pc - 3 5/8" x 3 5/8"
Sahara Sand Card Stock
1pc - 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"

Take the Tahitian Tide Card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the larger piece of basic white to the inside.
On the remaining piece of basic white you need to stamp your tree. This stamp is a two step stamp - meaning that you get a solid image and a detailed image that you stamp over each other to create the full detail.
Stamp the detailed tree image first in Sahara Sand towards the bottom to the piece. Then ink up the solid trunk stamp, then stamp off first onto a scrap piece and then add to the card, lining it up to create a full trunk.
Next, ink up the detailed leaves image and stamp off twice and then line it up so they sit in the branches. Then ink up the solid image and stamp off three times before adding to the image. This makes the Garden Green ink a lot lighter.
Ink up the sentiment in Tahitian Tide and stamp above the tree.
Take this piece and holding the edges over the Sahara Sand Ink pad, tap it lightly so that you add ink to the sides of the card. This will provide a very thin line around the edges to frame it - I do this as it looks darker than adding cardstock, and to be honest it can be quite faffy working with tiny measurements to get such a thin border.
Next, ink up the swirly image in Sahara sand and stamp off to get a little tone and cover the piece of sahara sand. This is supposed to be the Sun i think, but I thought it worked well kind of looking like log rings?
Layer the Basic White, Sahara Sand and Mossy Meadow card stock pieces together and then add to the card front.
