Awash with Beauty Jumbo Tealight Duo Gift Box. Crafty Collaborations Share it Sunday. September 2022

  Good Morning Everyone

Happy Sunday! Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.

Today I've made a gift box which holds two Jumbo tea lights. I've made it before a couple of times, but I had a request to create a couple for a friend (who received one of these at the BBQ I made table gifts for back in the Summer ! haha) to add some pamper hampers she was making, so I made some of these for her. But these would be great to gift for all sorts!

I've used the beautiful Awash with Beauty DSP which is so so pretty - I absolutely love the colours in this paper. I decided to using Blushing Bride for my base as these are to go into girly gifts! haha.

Measurements

Blushing Bride Card Stock

1pc - 8" x 7"

Awash in Beauty DSP

1pc - 2 1/4" x 4 3/4"

2pc - 2 1/4" x 3/4"

2pc - 4 3/4" x 3/4"

1pc - Fussy cut flower cluster

---------------------------------------------------------

Take the Blushing Bride Card stock and score as follows:-

Long Side - 1", 3 1/2", 4 1/2" & 7"

Short Side - 1" & 6"

Fold and burnish all the score lines, then holding the card on the long side, create tabs from all the square sections. Cut up straight down the side of the rectangles and notch into the squares slightly so you will get a shape like this

Take the larger piece of DSP and add the large flower cluster to it. This will be much bigger than the DSP below, so just make sure you get as much on it as possible. Trim the overhanging pieces.

Now, add your DSP - for now it doesn't matter which side you choose as they are both the same, but choose a large panel and add the biggest piece of DSP to that, then add the thinner strips all around it like so...

Now, add seal+ to all the tabs and following the arrows above adhere to create your box. Fold in the 'B' tabs first to create the base, then the 'A' tabs create the lid.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today, please take a look at the list below and continue through the hop for lots more crafty inspiration.
