Hues of Happiness Sending Many Thanks Card. Touches of Ink Blog Hop. September 2022

  Good Evening Everyone

Hope you are heaving a good week so far.

I'm hopping with the Touches of Ink ladies today. Every Month we hop and although we don't have a specific theme, we are asked to focus primarily on a Suite or a Bundle from Stampin Up.

I decided to get out the Hues of Happiness Bundle - and even though I have used this ALOT since it's release, I still absolutely LOVE it and am constantly finding new and interesting inspiration to use it - it really is so versatile.

Measurements

Daffodil Delight
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 5 5/8"x 3 7/8"
1pc - scrap

Hues of Happiness DSP
1pc - 4" x 3 3/4"
1pc - 5" x 3" approx
Flowers and leaves cut from DSP

-------------------------------------------

Take the Daffodil Delight Card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base.

Add a fussy cut or die cut flower to the bottom right hand corner of the Basic white piece, making sure it overhangs on two edges, then trim off the excess so the edges are all straight.

Pop this panel inside the card base.

Adhere the larger piece of DSP to the card front.

Take the smaller piece of DSP and rip all the edges, just gently rip the edge towards you making sure you create some white edges.

Adhere this to the card front

On a scrap of basic white stamp the sentiment, then using the ticket edge die, cut top and bottom to create a ticket style banner, trim the edges if needed. Pop this just slightly lower than central, making the left hand side line up with the DSP below.

Take another fussy cut of die cut flower and some leaves and add these to the top right of the sentiment, over lapping it slightly.

Finally, add some wink of stella into the centre of the flower to add a little sparkle.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today. Please continue through the hop to get lots more inspiration. Start off by heading over to see what Melanie has created.
