Good Morning Everyone
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We are all a little under the weather in our house so it's not been the most exciting of weekends - a lot of films and snuggles on the sofa!
So, as it's Monday - I get to share my card for this week's Creative Colour Challenges and it's such a pretty combo this week. I love this mix of Granny Apple Green, Pale Papaya and Gray Granite!
I went for a very simple layout for my card - using scraps of card stock, I stamped images from Simply Fabulous to create some interest behind a very simple sentiment.
Measurements
Gray Granite Card Stock
1pc - 8 1/4" x 5 7/8", scored at 4 1/8"
1pc - scrap
Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc -scrap
Granny Apple Green Card Stock
3pc - 3 3/4" x 1 1/4"
Pale Papaya Card Stock
3pc - 3 3/4" x 1 1/4"
---------------------------------------
Take the Gray Granite Card Stock and fold along the score line, adding the basic white panel to the inside.
Using the leaf images from Simply Fabulous, stamp ink Granny Apple Green ink onto the same colour card. I used one leaf per strip. Also, stamp some of the flower images in Pale Papaya onto the Pale Papaya Strips.
Arrange these onto the card front, alternating the colours and layering then slightly 'wonky' to create some further interest.
On a scrap of Basic White Stamp the sentiment in Gray Granite ink and trim. Layer onto a scrap of Gray Granite ink and trim to leave a nice even border all the way round.
Add this to the centre of the card front with dimensionals
Stamp one of the flowers onto another scrap of Basic white in Pale Papaya ink and fussy cut. Add this to the lower left corner of the sentiment and pop a large rhinestone into the centre.
Told you it was super easy and this layout will work amazing in different colours and with lots of different stamped images.
