Within our Team, Stampin Birds we have recently started running a weekly challenge to keep our mojo going and maybe do a project that we wouldn't normally create ourselves. Team members have given themes and challenge Ideas and this week we are doing a Tic Tac Toe Board.
These are so much fun as again, it makes you add elements to your project that you may not think of doing.
Here's the card I made this is a great way of using up scraps!!!!!
This is the Tic Tac Toe Board we have all used.
I chose to design my card with Circles,Blue and Floral as I thought this would definitely Challenge me!!
Measurements
Balmy Blue Card Stock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - Scrap
In Good Taste DSP
1pc - 3 3/4" x 5 7/8"
Flowers for Every Season DSP
1pc - scrap
Well Suited DSP
1pc - scrap
Pacific Point Card Stock
1pc - Scrap
Take you piece of Balmy Blue card stock and fold along the score line to create the card base, add the strip of of In Good Taste DSP to the centre of the card front. Using the detailed trio punch, round all four corners.
Round the corners of the larger piece of basic white card stock and add to the I side of the card.
Using the Stitched shapes dies and your Cut & Emboss machine cut out the following...
Large circle from Well Suited DSP
Slightly smaller circles from both Pacific point card stock and Flowers for Every Season DSP
Smaller circle in Basic White Card Stock.
Add the two DSP circles to the card base.
Stamp the sentiment from Rustic Retreat in memento and once dry colour in with a Noght of Navy Blend.
Layer this onto the Pacific point circle and add to the card overlapping both of the DSP circles.
Finally colour in a few of the Rhinestone gems with the night if Navy blend and add to the sentiment circle.
