Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Sunday Folks, as It's Sunday we have our regular Share it on Sunday and this week we are making a Gift Bag.
I decided to use the beautiful Flower & Field DSP, which is a Sale-a-Bration Freebie, you can get this with qualifying purchases throughout January and February! Give me a shout if you would like to know more information, but for now back to the project...
Measurements
Flower & Field DSP
1pc - 6" x 12"
So Saffron Cardstock
scraps
Whisper White Cardstock
scraps.
Take the DSP and score as follows..
Long Side - 1 1/2", 5 3/4", 7 1/4" & 11 1/2"
Short Side - 4 1/2"
Hold the DSP along the long side, and cut up all the score lines at the bottom up to the first horizontal score line, notch into all the squares to create tabs. Remove the thin skinny rectangle on the bottom right hand side. notch into the top and bottom of the thin tab you have made. See below
Add tear and tape to the tab on the right hand side, bring that round and adhere to the opposite side. At the bottom, fold in the sides bback and then adhere down the front to create your base.
Gently pinch in the top to close. As this is DSP the paper with easily go where you ask it.
Hold the bag closed and add two holes along the top. Make sure you space then evenly. Thread ribbon through the holes and tie with a knot on the inside to create two handles.
Stamp the sentiment in memento ink into a scrap of whisper white, trim and layer onto a scrap of so saffron. Add to the bottom right hand side of the bag.
Cut two shapes using the Daisy Punch and some scrap whisper white and one in so saffron. Take the light pool party Blend and colour in the petals close to the centre of the white daisies. Cut off all the petals from the so saffron shape and add this to the centre of one of the white ones. Layer both shapes up, offsetting them so you get a full flower head. Add this to the side of the sentiment.
Please head over to see what Donna & Karen have both created as well..
