Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Saturday, hope you are well and have some lovely things planned today - we aren't doing a right lot if I'm honest, few jobs around the house but it's going to be more of a relaxing day.
Today I've created this really cute little gift box, decorated with the carnation flower from the Inspiring Iris stamp set. The finished dimensions are 2 3/4" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" so a decent size to get some small treats in there.
Measurements
Granny Apple Green Card Stock
1pc - 6 1/2" x 6 1/4"
Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 1 3/8" x 1 3/8"
4pc - 1 3/8" x 2 5/8"
Take your Granny Apple Green card stock and score as follows:-
Long Side - 1 1/2", 3", 4 1/2" & 6"
Short Side - 1 1/2", 4 1/2" & 5 3/4"
Fold and burnish all your score lines. then cut away at your card until you have a shape like this
On the Basic White Card Stock, stamp the outline of the flower fully on the larger pieces of card and only the flower head on the smaller square. Add the Thanks above the flower head on the square. Using the solid stamps fill in the flower head and steam using Calypso Coral & Granny Apple Green Inks.
Add these to the Granny Apple Green card stock like this - making sure that the square is upside down when you look at it.
Add a small thumb notch as above with a small circle punch.
Run tear and tape along the thin tab you have created on the right and fold it around to attach to the opposite side. At the bottom, fold in the sides, back and adhere down the front to create your base.
fold over the lid and there you have it, box completed in super speedy time!
