So, we got to Friday folks! I hope you have some wonderful plans for the weekend. Imogen is sleeping over at her Grandma's on Saturday, Dave and I have a friend's birthday party to go to, so thought this the ideal opportunity for some grown up time.
Today's card is super sweet and I love it. The You are So Loved stamp Set is so beautiful and work's perfectly for this birthday card.
Take a piece of gorgeous grape cardstock that measures 4 1/8" x 11 3/4" and score at 5 7/8". Place one side into the Swirls and Curls embossing folder and run through your die cutting machine. This creates a beautiful background.
Next, using the You are Loved stamp set, stamp the wreath and three birds onto some scrap whisper white them colour jn using blends and fussy cut out.
On a strip of vellum that measures approx 1" x 3 3/4" heat emboss the sentiment from the itty bitty birthday stamp set in white. Make sure you leave somw space to the left, so that you can tuck this under the wreath. Then pop the end into the tailored tag punch to create a banner tail.
Add snail to the staight edge side of the Vellum, and adhere to the card. Pop dimensionals on the back of the wreath and add to the card front. You want to position it so that it covers the snail you can see through the vellum. Then place dimensionals on the back of the bids and place on the card. I specifically place two over the vellum to help hold it in place as there is no adhesive holding it down, except under the wreath.
Finally add a piece of whisper white to the inside for somewhere to write a lovely birthday message.
