It's Monday again, I cannot believe how quick the weekend goes! We have had a fab time, way too much to eat and drink, never stopped but it's been fab. Back to normality now, for a few days at least.
Here's my card for the Random Colour Challenge on Stampin for All on Facebook. This week we have Blackberry Bliss, Pool Party and So Saffron, which is a fantastic combo, I loved playing around with this and the Verdant Garden stamp set helped me create a fab background to incorporate the colours.
Measurements
WhisperWhite Cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"
1pc - 3" x 4 7/8"
Pool Party Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
So Saffron Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 5/8"
BlackBerry Bliss Cardstock
1pc - 3 1/8" x 5"
First, take your smaller piece of Whisper White Cardstock and stamp the images from the Verdant Garden stamp. To create the background you need to use the two stamp to create the one design.
I used Pool Party for the image on the left and So Saffron for the one on the right. I found it easiest to stamp the pool party first, and then fill in with the so saffron.
Then, repeat the same process on the pool party cardstock but using only pool party ink. Then do the same on the so saffron.
Create a card base by folding the whisper white cardstock on the score line and build up your layers onto it. Start with the pool party, then so saffron, followed by the blackberry bliss.
Add the sentiment from the delightful day to the whisper white piece and colour in the outline bursts with a dark BlackBerry Bliss blend. Place some rhinestone jewels around the sentiment. Place this panel onto the card front on top of the blackberry bliss.
