Good Afternoon Everyone
Happy Monday!
Today I'm taking part in the current Inspire.Create.Challenges #155 and we have a sketch layout to follow.
I love a good sketch as it's open to interpretation - you can follow it exactly how it is, or you can use it as a starting point to create something completely out there inspired by the layout.
I have decided to keep pretty close to the original layout as I thought it would work really well with the Sending Cheer bundle. What do you think?

Merry Bold & Bright DSP

1pc - scrap for the circle
-----------------------------------------
Take the Shaded Spruce Card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the Basic White piece to the inside.
With your larger piece of DSP cut it length ways at about 1 1/2" - Add these two pieces to the card front, flipping one piece over so you are showing two patterns. Then with the 3/4" piece of Shaded spruce add this to cover the join in the papers.
Cut out a circle using the 2 3/8" circle punch and the striped green patterned paper.
Line up the Shaded spruce strip on the circle to the strip on the card front below and adhere down with dimensionals.
On a scrap of Basic White stamp the Present image in Blueberry Bushel ink and the ribbon in Melon Mambo ink. Cut out using the coordinating dies. add this to the right hand side of the circle.
Whilst you have your Stamp n Emboss machine to hand, cut out the Bow die in Melon Mambo ink and the trim off the long centre piece to create a small bow.
Add this to the left hand side of the card front, on the thin strip of Shaded Spruce.
Finally stamp the sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink and trim to leave a neat even border. I stamped it twice and used a word from each image - this way you can give each word a nicer finish. Add these to the card from so they over lap onto the circle slightly.
I hope you enjoyed my card today - I absolutely loved working with these Bold and Bright colours for a non traditional Christmas Card. Please head on over to Inspire.Create.Challenges blog to check out the Design Team Inspiration along with the other entries - plus you can also add a creation of your own!
