Good Evening Everyone
Happy Tuesday!
Today I want to share a ridiculously easy Birthday card with you, which uses minimal supplies but you get great results. This card is all about straight lines and colouring. I loved the chance to really dial back my creating.
You could use less colours, or create some patterns within the sections - it's just such a fabulous layout to really go to town with!
Measurements
Basic Black Card Stock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"
Basic White Card Stock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - scrap
--------------------------------------------------
Take the Basic Black Card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add one of the Basic White pieces of card to the inside.
To create the Sunburst effect, take a ruler and your Black Stampin Write Marker. Lay the ruler from one corner to another and using the brush end, draw a line. Repeat this for the opposite corner, then go around your card adding as many lines as you would like. The more lines you add, the smaller the sections will be - the less dividing lines will give you larger sections - it's entirely up to you what you think looks best.
Then go in with a selection of colouring tools - I used my Stampin Blends but this would work with all sorts of colouring methods.
Once the whole background is coloured in, adhere this panel to the card front.
Stamp the sentiments in Memento ink onto a scrap of Basic White a cut out with the 2 3/8" Circle Punch. Gently run the Stampin write marker around the edge to add the tiniest of border - this way you are colouring more of the edge of the cut out.
Add this to the centre of the card front with dimensionals - to cover where all the lines join.
Colour three Rhinestones with your Stampin Blends and add them over the dots around the circle for a little bit of bling
I hope you have enjoyed my card today - I loved using my supplies for a simple yet effective card.
