Good Morning Everyone,
Today I've create a card using this week's Creative Colour Challenges combo. I love this Mix of Smoky Slate, Sweet Sorbet and Blackberry Bliss.
I've used the Color & Contour Stamp set and coordination Scalloped Contours dies to create a simple but effective card - relying on layer to create interest, then adding a pop of colour with the sweet sorbet flower and sentiment.
Measurements

1pc - 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

1pc - scrap
Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5 /8"

-------------------------------------------------
Take the larger piece of Smoky Slate card stock an fold along the score line to create your card base - adding the Basic White panel to the inside.
On a scrap of Basic White stamp the flower image in memento ink and once dried colour in using your Stampin Blends - I used Sweet Sorbet for the flowers and Smoky Slate for the leaves.
Bring in your Stampin Up Cut & Emboss machine and cut out some of the scalloped layers. I cut the largest frame in Blackberry Bliss card stock, and the next size down in Smoky Slate. Also cut out the flower with the coordinating die.
Take the Smoky Slate die cut and mask along the perforated edges to leave a rectangle in the centre. Ink up the single flower stamp in Smoky Slate ink and cover the whole area - make sure you go over onto the masking paper or post it, so the pattern looks to go off the edge.
Mount the Here for you Now stamp from the set and ink up with Sweet Sorbet ink. I didn't want the word 'Now' on it, so I managed to carefully ink up the stamp without that word - but you could pop a bit of masking paper over the word to make doubly sure you do not get any ink onto it. Stamp this onto a scrap of Basic White and cut out using the smooth oval from the double oval punch, then cut a scallop oval in Blackberry Bliss. Layer these two up.
Now, it's just a case of sticking everything down to get your desired layout.
Place the Smoky Slate frame onto the Blackberry Bliss frame and adhere to the card front using liquid glue.
Pop some dimensionals behind the flower and sentiment and arrange these onto the card front also.
