Good Morning Everyone
Happy Monday, I hope you all had a fab weekend.
A few weeks back I did a black and white card with a splash of Colour using Purple. So I thought it would be fun to switch it up and try to create a card that was mainly purple with just a small amount of Black & White.
I thought the Fragrant Flowers bundle and the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder would be a great mix - and I love how it turned out - what you you think?

Take the Gorgeous Grape card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding the larger piece of Basic White to the inside, and the Basic Black Piece to the card front.
Bring in your Cut & Emboss Machine and using the remaining piece of Basic white, run it through in the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder.
Using your blending brushes as some Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grape ink to the embossed piece. I concentrated most of the colour over the flower heads, trying to make them slightly darker and more defined.
Add this to the card front.
On a scrap of Basic White Card stock stamp the large floral image in memento ink and once dry colour in using a selection of blends.
Now, you can either fussy cut or there is a coordinating die if you have it. Adhere this piece to a scrap of Basic Black card stock and then fussy cut (there's no die for this one I'm afraid) leaving a nice even border all around.
Stamp the sentiment on another scrap of basic white and cut using the stitched label die from the Fragrant dies. Again, adhere to a scrap of Basic Black card stock and trim to give a nice even border.
Arrange these on the card front and stick down with dimensionals.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today, I love the simplicity of this card and it would work for so many different colour combinations - Please do note that this stamp set and the coordinating dies as well as the Embossing Folder are on the retiring list so will not be available after this month, or whilst stocks last so be sure to pick them up whilst you can.
