Good Morning Everyone
As you may know, I sit and periodically batch make several items so that they are on hand to send at a moments notice. I tend to send a lot of Thank You cards for different reasons so I always like to make sure I have a good pile ready of these.
I somehow acquired a large box of 4x4" envelopes, which doesn't ever seem to go down - Haha - so I like to make this size to make use of those, plus by using this size I can get 4 card bases plus 4 labels from one sheet of 12x12" making it a frugal and cost effective use of supplies, adding in the fact that this particular design uses scrap and off cuts otherwise destined for the bin - well, that makes it's even better!
Measurements - per card
Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 4" x 8", scored at 4"
1pc - 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
1pc -scrap
Fitting Florets DSP
scrap strips at least 3 1/2" long
------------------------------------------------
Take the larger piece of Basic white and fold along the score line to create your card base.
Raid your scrap pile and gather strips of the Fitting Florets DSP - I used strips between 1/4" and 1 1/4". Adhere these down to the 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece of Basic White, trimming off any excess strips to make it neat and flush.
Add this panel to the centre of the card front.
Cut out a label shape from the lasting label punch in Basic White.
Ink up the flower image in Polished pink, stamp off onto a bit of scrap paper once, then stamp over the label you have just punched.
Once the ink is dry stamp over the top with the Thank You sentiment in Night of Navy ink, placing it into the centre.
Add this to the card front with dimensionals.
I hope you have enjoyed my scrapbusting project today, and this will work for so many different papers and give huge variety - Don't forget that some of the products in the Fitting Florets Suite retire 4th January, which includes this DSP - so be sure to pick it up whilst you can.
