Country Floral Lane Happy Valentine's Bridge Fold Card. Fun Fold Friday

 Good Morning Everyone

Woo Hoo, it's Friday! I don;t know about you, but this seems to have been a long week! haha.

It's Fun Fold Friday, so Donna, Karen and Myself all have a fun project to share with you. In fact, the card I have created today was inspired by a card made by Karen quite some time back. She is a huge fan of Fun Folds and makes some pretty amazing designs. I have taken all her measurements, Thank You Karen, and just given the card decoration my twist.

I've made a Bridge Fold - super simple, not at all complicated but it looks superb and a real show piece. Using the Country Floral Suite I made a very cuter Valentine's Day Card.

Measurements

Mint Macaron Card Stock

1pc - 7" x 7"

Sweet Sorbet Card Stock

1pc - 5" x 1 3/8"

1pc - 5" x 2"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 6 7/8" x 2 7/8"

Scrap

Country Floral Lane DSP

4pc - 7/8" x 6 7/8"

1pc - 2 7/8" x 6 7/8"

1pc - Bicycle Strip - approx 1 7/8" x 5"

1pc - Hearts and Flower Strip - approx 1 1/4" x 5"

3 hearts punched out from the Paper

------------------------------------------------------

Take the Mint Macaron card stock and score at 1" and 2" from either side. Then fold these score lines Mountain, valley, valley, Mountain to create this shape

Add the small floral print DSP to all the front facing panels.

Ink up the two sentiments in Sweet Sorbet and stamp into the centre of the Basic White piece. Once Dry glue this to the large panel on the back.

Take the two strips of DSP and layer them to the corresponding Sweet Sorbet strips and add these to the card. Place a small amount of glue to each end no further in than 1" (that's the width of the outer facing sides). Position the Bicycle one towards the bottom and the other towards the top, making sure that the they are both level and evenly spaced from top and bottom.

On a scrap of absic white stamp the sentiment in Sweet sorbet ink and trim down. Take this piece and holding vertically, gently tap the side of the card into your ink pad. this will give a very thin border around the sentiment, creating a faux layer. Add this with Dimensionals to the top bridge strip.

Using the Country Bouquet Punch, cut out three of the Hearts from the DSP and the add these to the back panel of the card in between the two bridge pieces using dimensionals. Place a few of the sequins around them.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today - I really loved creating it. Please check out the links below to see what Donna & Karen have both made today
