Good Evening Everyone
Today I'm taking part in the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop and our theme is "Favourite Sale-a-bration Item". If you are not familiar with Sale-a-bration - where have you been? Haha. Seriously though, it is one of the Best events in our Stampin Up Calendar. During January & February Stampin Up release a selection of Exclusive Products that you can Earn for free with qualifying orders.
I had a difficult time choosing my favourite because the offering right now is fabulous, but I had a think and it's got to be the Beautifully Happy stamp set. I love everything about it - the images, the fact it's a DistINKtive stamp along with sweet sentiments in the nicest fonts.
I've used Shaded Spruce, Gorgeous Grape & Mango Melody which create a very deep and rich tone with this stamp set and I LOVE it!!
Measurements
Shaded Spruce Card Stock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 57/8"
Basic White Card Stock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
scrap pieces
Lovely Layers Vellum
1pc - with the circle design
-----------------------------------------
Take the Shaded Spruce Card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add one of the Basic White pieces to the inside.
On the other piece of Basic White, stamp the floral image in memento ink all over to create a background. On a scrap stamp the image again. Colour these in using Shaded Spruce ink for the leaves, Gorgeous Grape for the petals and Mango Melody for the flower centres.
Add the large panel to the card front.
Fussy cut the image stamped onto the scrap and the circle image from the vellum.
Glue the flower down over the vellum, then add dimensionals to the back under the stamped image.
Add this to the centre of the card front.
Finally stamp the two sentiments, trim and add one to the top left and one to the bottom right.
I hope you have enjoyed my project today, please take a look at the list below and continue through the hop for lots and lots more inspiration using the Sale-a-bration freebies
