Decorative Borders Feel Better Soon Card. Ink Stamp Share Showcase Blog Hop. January 2023.

 Good Afternoon Everyone

Today I'm taking part in the Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop and this being the first one of the month is a Showcase Hop - We have no specific theme - just an opportunity to create something with our wonderful Stampin Up Supplies.

I have a delivery earlier in the week and couldn't wait to get stuck into creating with the Decorative Borders Stamp Set. I love the imagery and the fact it's all outlines so a great set for colouring!

I decided on a simple design, but I think the colours and layout look fabulous. This would be a great design to make up and leave off the sentiment, having a few blank cards on hand to add a sentiment as and when you need.

Measurements

Sweet Sorbet Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 14", scored at 4 1/8"

Granny Apple Green Card Stock

1pc - 3 5/8" x 5 1/4"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 4 1/4" x 3 5/8"

---------------------------------------------

Take the sweet sorbet card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the larger piece of Basic White to the inside.

On the smaller piece of Basic white, stamp the slightly curved border in memento ink twice to create a sort of oval shape in the centre of this piece. I stamped the image horizontally, the turned it 180 degrees (upside down) and stamped again.

Take the sentiment from Cottage Rose and stamp in memento into the centre.

Once all the ink is dry, colour in with Sweet Sorbet & Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends.

Ink up the small border image and stamp the border along both short sides of the Granny Apple Green Card stock in the same colour ink. Try to stamp it as close to the edges as you can.

Now layer the stamped panel into the centre of the Granny Apple Green card. It will be the same height, but the will be enough at either side to show the stamping below.

Add this to the centre of the card front.

Told you it was super simple!!

I hope you enjoyed my card today - please take a look at the list below to get a lot more crafting inspiration
