Beautiful Friendship Decorated Gift Box. Share it on a Sunday

 Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Sunday Everyone, Hope you are all well.

Today for the Share it on a Sunday theme we are all using a Stamp Set that is going to retire with the current catalogue. It was a given for me to use the Beautiful Friendship stamp set, it's by far one of my most favourite sets EVER! I'm devastated this is leaving us - but I'm also super excited to for all the new stuff coming,

I've made this fab lidded gift box and then added a stamped panel using the Beautiful Friendship to create a lovely 'picture' on the top. The gift box measures 4 1/2" x 3" x 2", so it's a great size to fit all sorts of goodies in.

Measurements

Balmy Blue Card Stock

1pc - 7" x 8 1/2"

Night of Navy Card Stock

1pc - 6 1/2" x 5"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 2 7/8" x 4 3/8"

Take the Balmy Blue card stock and score at 2" on all four sides, fold and burnish the score lines well. Then create tabs by cutting the squares - cut up straight to the side of the rectangles and then notch into the squares.

Repeat this process for the Night of Navy card stock, but scroe at 1" on all four sides, edging the card stock away from the edge a teeny bit, approx 1 1/16" - it just helps the lid fit better.

On your piece of Basic White, stamp the images from Beautiful friendship in a variety of colours to build up a pretty picture. Once finished, adhere to the centre of the night of navy cardstock.

Going back to the blue card stock pieces, add tear and tape to all the tabs and fold them up to create the base and lid.

I hope you enjoyed today's project - please pop along and visit Donna & Karen's blogs to see what retiring stamp set they are using today.
