Posted for You Set of Three Mixed Greeting Cards. Share it on a Sunday CASE a Demo

 Good Morning Everyone,

It's Sunday, and that means we have another the me for you in our Share it on a Sunday series. This week we are CASEing our fave demo, or one of them! I know I get inspiration from many many crafters and a lot of those are fellow demos and I did find it hard to choose who to CASE.

I decided to chose a project by Connie Stewart of Simplysimplestamping.com. She has been a huge inspiration for me since my early days as a papercrafter - in fact she was one of the first Stampin Up Demos I'd seen and started to watch.

So here's my project for today....

I chose these cards to case using the Posted for You Stamp set and coordinating Postage punch as I remember loving them when I first saw her tutorial, and I think they really sum up Connie's crafting style - simple, elegant but oh So Fabulous.

The papers and designs have been switched up slightly to reflect my style and what my supplies would allow.

Card 1 - Just a Note

Fold the Highland Heather card stock along the score line to create your card base, adding one of the pieces of basic white to the inside and one to the card front.

Wrap a small length of ribbon around the DSP and adhere that panel to the centre of the card front. with the same ribbon, tie a knot and trim the edges, adding this to the ribbon on the card.

On the scrap white card stock, stamp the sentiment and bird image, once dry colour in with blends and then cut out using the postage stamp punch.

Card 2 - Happy Birthday

Create your card base by folding the Pear Pizzazz card stock along the score line, adding a basic white panel to the inside and the other tot he card front.

On the remaining piece of basic white, cut out a postage stamp shape with the punch. Stamp the Happy Birthday along the bottom, then add the thin strip of so saffron DSP above that.

Layer this piece onto the Highland Heather DSP. then stamp the flower shape into the centre of the aperture - colouring in the image, again with a selection of blends. Add this panel to card front. Placing a small knot of ribbon onto the 1/2" strip of DSP.

Card 3 - Love

Fold the Calypso Coral card stock along the score line and add one of the basic white pieces to the inside.

Using the detailed trio punch, cut out the flourish detail front the lower right corner of the remaining piece of basic white, and then add that to the card front.

Place the Balmy Blue DSP Strip down the left hand side.

Stamp the Love image onto a scrap of basic white and cut out using the postage stamp punch, colour in with blends and add to the card, overlapping the DSP.

Finally add a ribbon knot.
