Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Tuesday. Hope you are all well and getting some wonderful weather, we have had a lovely weekend and this week is shaping up to be nice as well.
Today, I have made a lovely card, simple yet really effective, and it using a great technique. Masking is a fab way to create interest on your card without building up lots and lots of layers.
Measurements
Basic Black Card Stock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
2pc - 1/4" strips
Basic White Card Stock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
Silver Foil
2pc - 3/8" strips
Fold your Basic Black card stock long the score line and add one of the Basic White piece to the inside.
Take the remaining piece of Basic White Card Stock and using some post it note lots to create two straight lines approx 1 1/2" apart.
Now ink up the images from Heart to Heart Stamp set and fill in the area in between the two post notes.
Remove the post it notes and you should have a nice stamped panel running through the centre of your card diagonally.
Stamp the two sentiments from Lovely You, one to the top and one to the bottom.
Now add the thin strip s of Basic Black and Silver Foil to either side of the stamping. this will neaten up the edges of the stamping and also frame it.
Finally add this panel to the card front.
