In Good Taste Basket of Blooms Happy Birthday Colour Challenge Card. Share it on a Sunday

 Good Morning Everyone.

Happy Sunday.

It's that time of the week again where Donna, Karen and Myself get together and show you three different projects created around the same theme.

This Week Karen chose the theme, and decided to opt for a colour challenge, choosing Gorgeous Grape, Rococo Rose & Seaside Spray. Not a colour combo I would usually think of, but I love how this card turned out.

So, as usual I will share my project tutorial with you, and then link to both Donna and Karen's blogs so you can take a look at their fabulous creations too.

Measurements

Rococo Rose Cardstock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Seaside Spray Cardstock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

1pc - scrap

Whisper White Cardstock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

In Good Taste DSP

1pc - 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"

Gorgeous Grape Cardstock

scraps for the flowers

Create your card base by folding the Rococo Rose Cardstock along the score line, adding the Whisper white piece to the inside and the Seaside Spray cardstock to the front. Now, using Gorgeous Grape ink, stamp the sentiment from Fancy Phrases in the top right on the DSP and then add this piece to the card front.

Stamp the vase in Seaside Spray ink onto the same colour cardstock and fussy cut.

Punch out three of the small blooms shapes in Gorgeous grape cardstock, lift the edges slightly to give some dimension. Place a rhinestone in the centre of each flower.

Figure out your placement of the vase and flowers, then stamp the stem image in seaside spray onto the DSP. Now with dimensionals and the vase and glue dots to adhere the blooms, making sure you work around the stamped stem.

I hope you like the card for today, as promised here's the links to both Donna & Karen's projects, so please do take a look at their projects too.
