A Very Merry Christmas Poinsettia Place Gift Box

 Good Morning Everyone,

Today is a very special day - it's Pootlers Mini Catalogue Faves Blog Hop day!! A whole bunch of the team will be showing you some amazing projects using products from our Mini Catalogue.

I chose to use the Poinsettia Place DSP to decorate a cute gift box. This Paper is so pretty, and as you can see here in the background print, it's not all covered in Christmas.

Measurements

Bumblebee Cardstock

1pc - 9 1/2" x 6"

Poinsettia Place DSP

2pc - 3 3/8" x 3 3/8"

3pc -  3 3/8" x 7/8"

Score the BumbleBee Cardstock as follows:-

Long Side - 1/2", 4", 5" & 8 1/2"

Short Side - 1/2", 1 1/2" & 5"

Fold and burnish all the score lines then, cut away at the cardstock to create your tabs etc. You should end up with a piece of cardstock that looks like this

Now, take one of the large squares and heat emboss the sentiment in Gold towards the top, don't go to close to the top edge otherwise you may take some away when you create the thumb notch.

Add your DSP to the cardstock as follows:

Add a small thumb notch above the sentiment.

Run adhesive down the thin tab and fold round to create the sides of the box, fold in the sides back and then adhere down the front to create the base, then tuck in the tab at the top to close the box.

Take the poinsettia images from the DSP as cut one full flower, and then one flowers centre. Layer these up with dimensionals and add to the card front.

Take a look at what all the other super talented Pootlers have created with products front the new mini catalogue
