Share What You Love Thank You Card. Number 84 of #100things

Good Morning Everyone,

It's New Years Eve, What have you all got planned for the celebrations this evening... Me and Dave are heading to our friends for a quiet New Year Eve.

Today I have this quick and simple thank you card, using up scraps!!

Measurements:-

Blackberry Bliss Card Stock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"
scrap for the circle.

Share What You Love Speciality Designer Series Paper
1pc - 3" x 3 3/4"
1pc - 2" x 2 1/4"
1pc - 1 3/4" x 2 1/4"

Whisper White Card Stock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
Scrap for the circle

Take the large piece of Blackberry Bliss, fold and burnish to create your card base. Add the large piece of Whisper White to the inside of the card with liquid glue.

Arrange the three pieces of DSP on the front of the card to create a background. I used liquid glue, as you have a few moments to align the pieces perfectly.

Bring in your big shot and your stitched shape framelit dies.  Cut out the largest circle in Blackberry Bliss cardstock and the second largest in Whisper White.

Stamp the sentiment from Painted harvest onto the whisper white circle, then layer this onto the blackberry bliss cardstock. Place this on the card front over where all the three DSP panels join.

Finally, add two large pearls to the sentiment panel and then dot around some smaller ones over the rest of the card front.

Animal Expedition Pocket Notebook. Number 83 of #100things

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Today I am having a bit of a chill out day - the days running up to and after Christmas have been pretty hectic so we are taking a day off of the madness today. Although I am sure I will head into the craft room for an hour or so at some point. what have you got planned??

My project for today I this really cute Pocket Notebook, I bought these locally for a few pounds for a pack of 8 but the covers were so uninspiring, so I decided to cover them and I just love the finished effect, so much prettier than the original state.

Take a piece of cardstock that measures 3 1/4" x 8 3/4" and score on the long side at 4 1/4" and 4 1/2"

My measurements are specifically for the 4" x 3" notebook I picked up but You can adapt these to fit any notebook - all you need to do is measure the length of the notebook and the thickness. Here's a simple formula.

LENGTH
Length of notebook x 2 + Depth + 1/2".

WIDTH
Width of notebook + 1/4"

Make sure you fold and burnish the score lines well. Add liquid glue to the back of the notebook and adhere to the cardstock. Butt it up to the first score line. Fold the flap over and the base is done.

Add a piece of DSP that measures 2 7/8" x 4" to the front.

Take a piece of whisper white cardstock, and using the hand lettered alphabet stamp the word notes. I drew a light pencil line to help me get all the letters straight, which I rubbed out once all the ink was dry. Sponge the edges with Bermuda Bay ink and then adhere to the cover.

Here's a list of all the supplies I used in my project today.... click on the images to head over to my online store.

Tranquil Textures Cute Mini Tealight Holder. Number 82 of #100things

Good Morning Everyone.

First post after Christmas - I hope you all had a wonderful time! I definitely ate too much and drank too much (although non-alcoholic this year). I love Christmas, it's a great time spent with loved ones. But now I am firmly back in my crafting pants and raring to take on 2019.

Today I have made this cute little mini tealight holder which holds one tealight. It measures 3" x 2" x 3/4", so I am sure you could make it work to hold a variety of other goodies. You can get 6 holders from one sheet of 12x12" paper - so great to make for favours, teachers gifts etc.

Take a piece of DSP that measures 6 x 3 3/4" and place it in the simply scored. Make sure that if you have directional paper that the images are in the correct direction. You should be looking at the paper with the direction as needed.

Score on the long side at 1/2" , 1 1/4", 3 1/4" & 4". Turn 90 degrees onto the short side, making sure you have you direction pointing left and score at 3". This score line will be creating the base section.

Bring in your snips and hold the DSP horizontal with the score line towards to bottom, cut up all the score lines and notch into the square sections. Remove the skinny rectangle  on the lower left hand corner and notch into the long thin tab. See below:-

Add tear and tape to the skinny left hand rectangle and fold together to create the bag. Tuck in the flaps at the bottom, then add tear and tape to the front flap and seal the bottom closed.

Stamp the For You sentiment on a piece of scrap Whisper White in Fresh Fig ink, and then cut out with the 3/4" circle punch. Cut out a 1" circle from Crumb Cake cardstock and sponge the edges. Layer these two circles together and add to the front of the holder.

Pop in a tealight then pinch close the top closing with a gold library clip, add a small length of ruffled ribbon to add some more colour.

Big Wishes Bright Birthday Card. Number 81 of #100things

Hey Folks,

Another card from me today - I am creating like mad at the minute. I have so much craft mojo - Long may it continue!! hahaha.

Now this card is awesome to scrap bust and also very easy as It is all about the layers. Nothing difficult to it - just layers and layers of bright colours and a bit of stamping.

Measurements:

Lovely Lipstick Cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"
1pc - 2" x 3"

Pineapple Punch Cardstock
1pc - 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"

Call Me Clover Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 2" x 3"

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 1 3/4" x 2 3/4"

Take the Pineapple Punch card stock and the small solid balloon image from Balloon celebrations and cover the whole card with the image. Using Pineapple punch ink to create a tone on tone background gives a soft interest to the panel.

On the smallest piece of Whisper white cardstock stamp to happy birthday image from Big Wishes.

Now all that is left is to build the card.

Create your card base from the largest piece of Lovely Lipstick and add the whisper white panel to the inside. Layer up the call me clover and pineapple punch straight to give an equal border all the way round the edges.

Add the small pieces of Lovely Lipstick and Call me clover to the centre of the card but off set them on a diagonal. This again, helps to create subtle interest.

Finally add the sentiment piece with dimensionals and you are all done - told you it was easy, didn't I?

Here's a list of all the supplies I used today, click on the images to head over to my online store.
