Fragrant Layers Just a Note Card. Monochromatic Insta Hop - Balmy Blue 2026

  Good Afternoon Everyone,

It's Friday and that means we have our next Monochromatic Insta Hop and this week we are all Showcasing Balmy Blue, which is such a lovely softer shade of Blue.

I've kept my design clean and simple using the Fragrant Layers stamp set and my trusty Stampin Blends.

Measurements

Balmy Blue Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Basic Black Card Stock

1pc - 3 5/8" x 5 1/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 3 1/2" x 4 1/4"

1pc - 5/8" x 3 1/2"

Take the Balmy Blue Card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base - adding the largest piece of Basic White to the inside.

Ink up the floral image from Fragrant Layers and stamp into the centre of the 3 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of Basic White. Also stamp the sentiment onto the thin strip.

Take your Stampin' Blends and colour the flowers - I used Light and Dark Balmy Blue along with Light Daffodil Delight.

Layer these two pieces onto the Basic Black card stock, making sure to get an even border all the way round all the pieces - I found using liquid glue help here as it gave me a few moments to adjust as necessary.

Add this to the centre of the card front.

Honestly, it's a super quick and simple card to make. It looks awesome in Balmy Blue, but I will definitely be recreating this in other colour ways.
