Good Morning Everyone,
As it's the first Saturday of the month, I have the absolute pleasure of blog hopping with The Project Share Project ladies.
This month's theme is Fun Fold. I love a Fun Fold - but I also like simple and easy to put together, that's why I've chosen a Joy Fold Card. The decoration comes from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set which is just beautiful. I stamped Very Vanilla card stock and coloured using my Pencils, adding to that hand drawn sketchy feel.
what do you think?

---------------------------------------------------
The first strep is to create your stamped panels. Ink up the larger butterfly and add to the bottom right corner of one of the 5 5/8" x 3 7/8". Then cover the remaining piece of 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" & the 2 7/8" x 3 7/8" piece of Very Vanilla with a selection of butterflies, again in Basic Gray ink. To keep your butterflies in the right direction, have the 3 7/8" length portrait.
Once stamped, take you Pencils and colour in. I didn't do any thing fancy, I just followed the detail lines with a slightly darker touch and coloured in with a light touch.
Stamp a butterfly onto scrap and colour as well. Using the coordinating die and your Cut & Emboss Machine to cut out.
Take the Basic Gray Card Stock pieces and fold along the score line.
Take the larger piece of Basic Gray card stock and place it in front of you with the fold to the left. Add the fully Stamped panel to the inside, and the 2 7/8" x 3 7/8" piece to the smaller card front flap you created. Placing the Very Vanilla with the single butterfly on to the back.
With the smaller piece of Basic Gray card stock hold that so the fold is on the right. One on of the remaining pieces of Very Vanilla stamp the sentiment along the bottom edge, then add this to the card front, adding the last piece of Very Vanilla to the inside
Add adhesive to the back of the smaller 'backward' card and add to the the centre of the fully stamped panel, open this and close the flap from the left, then close the flap front the right. This gives you a 'flip flap' motion when opening.
Finally add the single butterfly with dimensionals above the sentiment.
I really hope you have enjoyed my card today - I have so much fun creating it.
Please take a few minutes to continue through the hop to see what other Fun Folds have been created. Verity is up next.
