Good Afternoon Everyone,
Today I'm taking part in the Ink Stamp Share blog hop and this month we have a sketch challenge. I love a sketch as it really helps channel an idea, and gives you a starting point to work with.
I've kept it simple and used solid layers of block colour card stock and putting a small amount of stamping on just one layer. Adding a stitched detail around everything adds a little bit more interest without it looking too heavy.
What do you think?

Take the Azure Afternoon card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base.
Use your black stampin write marker and create 'stitch' lines all around the edge of the card front, and along the piece of Melon Mambo. Position this piece into the centre of the card front.
Repeat the stitch detail around the 2 1/2" x 3 3/4" piece of Basic White, then ink up the dragonfly image and cover the whole piece. I used Memento for the outline and added Melon Mambo and Azure Afternoon. Once finished add to the card front, slightly wonky as in the sketch.
Add a line of dragonflies along the bottom of the 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" Basic White piece and then add to the inside of the card.
Stamp the sentiment in Azure Afternoon ink and cut out using the 2" circle punch and add the stitched detail. Add this to the lower left of the card front with dimensionals.
Take the remaining pieces of Basic White and cut a banner tail to both. Add the stitch detailing to them, then using a blending brush add a small amount of Azure Afternoon to the edges of the thin strip. Adhere this down with liquid glue, then Position the more square banner over the top with dimensionals.
Colour in three Rhinestones with your Melon Mambo Stampin Blends and add to the square Banner!
I hope you have enjoyed my card today - I absolutely loved creating it. Please take a few minutes to continue through the hop to get lots more inspiration following this sketch layout
