Country Birdhouse Happy Birthday Card. Touches of Ink Blog Hop. July 2024

 Good Evening Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in the Touches of Ink Blog Hop. Each month we hop without a specific theme, but are encouraged to focus on a Suite or a Bundle.

I've just had the Country Birdhouses bundle delivered and I couldn't wait to play with it. The DSP that comes in the Country Woods Suite is a soft and rustic palette, but I wanted to create a bold version - so I used just the stamp set and dies, along with a handful of my Stampin Blends.

What do you think?

Measurements

Pecan Pie Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

scraps

--------------------------------

Take the Pecan Pie card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add one of the Basic White Pieces to the inside.

On the remaining piece of create your scene. Ink up the Birdhouse image with Memento ink and a little lower than central. Add the chain image to the top and some flowers to either side of the 'ledge' base. Pop the Happy Birthday sentiment into the centre of this section, and the rest of the sentiment below.

Stamp a handful of the single flowers and a bird onto scrap Basic White.

Colour in all the images with your Stampin Blends then cut out the loose flowers and bird images using the coordinating dies and your Cut & Emboss Machine.

Add the large stamped panel tot he card front, then with dimensionals, add the bird and a row of flowers.

I love how this turned out - I hope you do too! Please take a few minutes to continue through the hop and get lots more inspiration. Patricia is up next
