Rustic Retreat Happy Birthday Card

Good evening everyone,

Hope you're having a brilliant Saturday? We have been here there and everywhere doing some food shopping and last little bits, then it was full on blitz the house mode... well that didn't last very long, but we have made a start! Haha.

So, I've only just had a chance to sort my card for today, but I hope you think it was worth the wait!

Measurements

Thick Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored 4 1/8"

Basic black cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
Scraps for matting the sentiment and images

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"
Scraps for the images

Create your card base by folding the thick whisper white along the score line, then stamp the line of trees all over the card front using mossy meadow ink, sponge the edges of the card front. Come in quite a bit, but concentrate the colour towards the edges and lighten it up towards the centre.

Add the basic black and whisper white panels to the inside.

On seperate pieces of scrap whisper white stamp the Deer, the Bear, the Cabin and the sentiment in memento ink. Colour them all in using blends.  A list of the colours I used are below, but you can pick any colours really.  Trim these down and layer onto some basic black.

Place these onto the card front, slightly overlapping then slightly. I used a combinationof snail and dimensionals to vary the height of the panels.

Christmas Gleaming Twine Wreath

Good evening everyone,

Well, it's fast approaching only a few more days until Christmas Day, hope you have all sorted out what needs sorting and can have a few days on the run up relaxing and enjoying the festivities.

Today I want to show you my Twine Wreath I have decorated with the  holly from the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set, and a lovely burlap bow.

It is very simple to make, but can take a bit of time due to the winding of the twine, and colouring in the holly but it really is worth it.

First of all, take a pre made wreath shape or creatn yourself, like I did.

Draw around a dinner plate onto some sturdy cardboard, I used an old delivery box. Add a smaller circle to the inside and cut out using a craft knife.

Tie your twine at the back and secure with a small blob of hot glue. Then just wrap the twine all the way around, making sure yiu don't leave any spaces between each piece otherwise you may see the cardboard underneath. I occasionally added some hot glue to the back to keep the twine tight and in place. Finish by tying the end to some of the twine and securing in place with a bit more hot glue.

Create a bow using some decorative burlap and add to the bottom the the twine hoop.

Next stamp quite a few of the holly images onto whisper white card stock in memento and colour in using your blends. Fussy cut these out and add to the hoop using a tiny blob of hot glue behind the berries.

You could add some burlap or twine at the top to hang your wreath, mine is sat over a screw so I didn't feel it was needed.

Sorry, I Wsh I Could Make Everything Better Greeting Card

Good Morning Everyone,

Sometimes you have to make a card for a friend so they know you are there are in your thoughts, and I have created a lovely card which also fits this week's Random Colour Challenge on Stampin for All on Facebook.  We were given Garden Green, Calypso Coral and Blushing Bride.

Take a piece of calypso coral card stock that measures 4 1/8" x 11 3/4" and scored at 5 7/8" to create a card base. Stamp the whole of the card front with the Sorry sentiment. Then open up the card and place the largest oval from the stitched shapes dies in the centre of the card front and run through your die cutting machine to create an aperture.

Add a piece of whisper white to the inside of the card and stamp the sentiment into the centre so you can see it through the aperture.

Next stamp out a selection of flowers in Blushing Bride and Calypso Coral, using Garden Green for the Stemens and stamp some of the leaves. Run all these through the die cut machine using the coordinating dies from the Bouquet Bunch dies.

Arrange all these around the oval, adhering with dimensionals.

Toile Tidings Merry Christmas Card - Sketch Challenge

Good Evening everyone,

I hope you are all well and had a fab weekend, we were super busy but had so much fun.

Today I have another Christmas Card to share using the Toile Tidings DSP. I'll be honest, I'm done with my Christmas Cards for this year, but I'm trting to use up those scraps!!! Enter this week's sketch challenge on Stampin for All on Facebook.

Measurements

Basic black cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
1pc - scrap for circle

Very Vanilla Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
Scrap for sentiment

Real Red cardstock
1pc - Scrap for circle

Toile Tidings DSP
1pc - 3 1/4" x 3 3/4"
1pc - 2" x 1 7/8"
1pc - 2" x 1 3/4"

Create a card base by folding the basic black along the score line and add the very vanilla panel to the inside. Next adhere down the DSP to the card front, making sure that you line up all the edges and space evenly.

Cut out two circles, I used the middle two sizes from thw stitched shapes dies and layer these together, then add to the card front so it covers all the pieces of dsp.

On a scrap of whisper white stamp the merry and Christmas in real red, and trim. Add dimensionals to the back and adhere over the circles.

Abstract Impressions Thank You Card

Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Saturday, I have woken up today to the most awful weather.. it's miserable, but that won't stop us doing what we need to today.

But, before I crack on with today's jobs, I wanted to show you a card I made for the Random Colour Challenge on Stampin for All on Facebook.

We were given Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo and Basic Gray. Which I think is a fabulous colour combo... here I show how by using a small amount of supplies, and some clever stamping, you can create this beautiful card.

Measurements

Basic Gray Cardstock
1pc - 8 1/4" x 5 7/8", scored at 4 1/8".
1pc - scrap for sentiment

Whisper White Cardstock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - scrap for sentiment

Coastal Cabana Cardstock
1pc - scrap for sentiment

Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
1pc - scrap for sentiment

Create a card base by folding the basic gray along the score line and add one panel of whisper white to the inside.

On the other piece of whisper white, stamp the images all over to create your own custom background. The stamp set is special one because you get the stamps to create one detailed image. So, with flirty flamingo ink stamp the flowers. Stamp off twice for the biggest stamp, then once for the next one and stamp as normal with the most detailed. This builds up a great image. Then in coastal cabana ink, stamp off once and stamp the leaves between the flowers. Add this panel to the card front.

On a scrap of whisper white stanp the sentiment in basic gray. Then trim and layer up onto flirty flamingo cardstock, then coastal cabana and finally basic gray.add dimensionals to the back and place into the centre of the stamped panel.

It's such a pretty stamp, and could look amazing in many colour ways. This stamping off technique really helps you get a lot more scope of colour from just one ink pad.
