Verdant Garden You're the Best Greeting Card

Happy Monday,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, didn't it just fly by?? Today we are back to it, and I have another card for you to take a look at. It's for the colour challenge over on Stampin for All. We were given Poppy Parade, Mango Melody & Daffodil Delight.

At first I was a little unsure of what to do, but as soon as I saw the Verdant Garden stamp set - I knew what to do.

Measurements

Daffodil Delight Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
1pc - scrap for sentiment

Poppy Parade Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 3 1/2" x 5 1/4"
1pc - scrap for sentiment

Create your card base from the daffodil delight and add the largest whipser white to the inside and layer the poppy parade to the front.

Then take the next piece of whisper white.  To create this pattern, the stamps have been cleverly designs to fit together and repeat. I found it easier to stamp the section that Ive coloured in poppy parade, then fill in the the mango melody, but im sure you will find the best way for you.  I used blocks and a keen eye to line up, but you could use the Stamparatus. It's very easy to line up, just take your time and you will get into a rythym. Just keep going until the full piece is covered - hey presto, your own DSP!!! Add this to the card front.

Run the largest and second largest circle through your die cutting machine to create the largest in daffodil delight and the next one down in whisper white. Layer these two together, then stamp on the greeting in poppy parade. Make sure you stamp over to the right hand side. Cut down the circle close to the sentiment to create a semi circle. Sponge the edges of the daffodil delight circle woth mango melody and add to the card.

Dot around a few rhinestones and it's finished.

Here's a list of all the supplies I used in today's card, click on the images to head over to my online store
