Scraps for sentiment and bird.
Create the card base by folding the largest piece of early espresso cardstock along the scroe line and burnish well, add the very vanilla to the inside.
Using the layered leaves embossing folder, run the early espresso piece and the crumb cake through your die cutting machine. Sponge the edges of the crumb cake lightly with early espresso ink and adhere to the card front.
Cut two lengths of metallic ribbon approx 4". Take your crumb cake light blend, and using the side of the brush tip colour in the white area. Wrap these round the embossed early espresso panel. Secure the tape at the back using a small amount of snail, then once secure add snail to the rest of the panel and add to the card front.
Rub your embossing buddy over a piece of vellum and stamp the heart wreath in versamark. Sprinkle with white embossing powder to cover the ink then gently tap off any excess. Now bring in your heat gun and melt the powder. Make sure you keep the tool moving to make sure you don't burn anything.
Once it has cooled colour in the leaves with old olive blends and the flowers with poppy parade. Be very careful to stay inside the lines and not get too much on the white outline. Fussy cut around the outside edge... you could cut out the centre, but I didn't feel it was necessary. Pop some dots of glue behind the flower and a dot by the lower point (this will get covered by the bird), add this to the card front.
On your scrap vanilla stamp the sentiment, trim, sponge and add to the card above thw lower trim. Then stamp the bird image and colour using crumb cake blends. Fussy cut and add to the card with dimensionals, on the vellum heart over your random glue splodge to hide it.
I told you it was full of techniques and processes, but it's a lovely card.
