Rubber Band Technique Thank You Card

Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Monday. The sun is shining and it looks like it's going to be a lovely day wooo hooo.

I see tonnes of techniques day in day out put and this one inspired me to give it a go. Sounds so odd to use rubber bands for stamping but it really does give you a fabulous effect.

Measurements

Basic black cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
1pc - scrap for the sentiment

Whisper White Cardstock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Create your card base by folding the basic black cardstock along the score line and add the whisper white panel to the inside.

Now take a clear block and wrap rubber bands all around it so it looks like this....

Then ink it up as you would a stamp, and then stamp onto the remaining piece of whisper white. Start with the lighter colours, wipe the bands and then move onto the darker colours. This way if you leave a little ink on, its not as bad as getting dark ink on a light ink pad.

Once you are happy with your coverage add the panel to the card front.

Finally run the thank you die through your die cutting machine with basic black cardstock. Add a thin layer of liquid glue to the back and place into the centre of the card front.

Here's a list of the supplies I used in today's card, click on the images to head over to my online store.
