Daisy Happy Birthday Card. Colour Challenge Card

Good Evening Everyone,

It's Tuesday and it's sunny!! Woo Hoo. We are expecting some good temperatures this week and with Dave off work - we can't wait to spend lots of time outside.

As you know I'm a real fan of joining in with challenges - any types of challenges. they really help me with my focus and push me sometimes to create something that I may not do off my own back.

Today's card is for Nigezza Creates Crafty Place. Gez is a wonderful; crafter and they group is fantastic and Supportive. Worth having a look! Here's the card I made

The Colours Gez chose were Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry & Garden Green, three colours from our Regals collection, which I will admit - I don't use too often.

Measurements

Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
1pc 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
Scraps for the daisy

Crushed Curry Cardstock
1pc - 2" x 5 7/8"
scrap for flower centre

Garden Green Cardstock
1pc - 3" x 4 1/2"

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
scrap for the sentiment

Create your card base by folding the rich razzleberry cardstock along the score line and add the whisper white panel to the inside.

Take both the Crushed Curry and Garden
Green and in your trimmer score at every half an inch on the short sides. Add these to the card front, lining up the score lines.

Punch out two of the flowers using the daisy punch, then adhere together offsetting so you create a full flower. Add a circle of crushed curry for the centre. I used 1/2" circle punch. Add this to the top of the garden green panel.

Stamp the sentimentfrom Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set onto a scrap of whisper white using Garden Green ink, then add below the daisy.

Job done, it's super quick and simple, really relying on the bold tones and that fabulous daisy!!

When I Count My Blessing Fancy Phrases Greeting Card

Good afternoon Everyone,

Happy Monday, the weekend goes so fast doesn't it? But, Dave's off work after today for the rest of the week so I'm really looking forward to that.

Today's card is very simple, but I wanted to show off this beautiful floral image from the Fancy Phrases stamp set.

Measurements

Old Olive Cardstock
1pc- 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Whisper White Cardstock
2pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

Fold the old olive cardstock along the score line and add one of the whisper white panels to the inside.

On the remaining piece of whisper white, stamp the floral image in the centre, then add the greetings all in memento black ink.

Once the ink is dry. Colour the flowers and leaves with a selection of Stampin Blends.

Now simply add this to the card front.

I told you it was super simple, didn't I? Sometimes, a great image and a couple of nice sentiments is all you need to make a really great card in super speedy time.

Flowers For Every Season 6x6" One Sheet Wonder Project. Share in on a Sunday #20

Hello Everyone,

Happy Sunday, that's right folks, it's that time of the week again where Karen, Donna and Myself challenge each other for our Share it on a Sunday Series.

This week we are doing a 6x6" One Sheet wonder. These are fabulous to get more from your DSP a d make it go further. I Chose the Flowers for Every Season DSP as these patterns and designs are just lovely.

I managed to make 4 card with the pattern I chose

Now. I can't take credit for this pattern. I saw it on Kelly. Kent's blog who is a Stampin Up Demonstrator in Australia. and decided to use it although the designs of the final cards are different

As always I will run through my tutorial a d then link to Donna and Karen's blogs so you can have a look and see what they have made.

Measurements

Smoky Slate Cardstock
4pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4" scored at 5 7/8"

Whisper White Cardstock
4pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Scraps of Basic Gray and Whisper White Cardstock for layering and sentiments.

Here's the template I followed

And here is how ny paper looked once I cut it.

Now you just need to assemble the cards. Create card bases with the smoky slate card stock and add a whisper white panel to the inside of each

Stamp some sentiments and layer these and the dsp onto basicgray cardstoxk and add to your card fronts.

I added some bows and enamel dots in the bew in colours to add a bit more interest.

Nobody Gets Me Like You Do All Things Fabulous Greeting Card

Good Morning Everyone

I hope you are all well today, it's a special project today as I'm taking part in the InspireINK blog hop.

A group of incredibly talented crafter are showcasing their favourites from the annual catalogue. I chose the All Things Fabulous, and it is just that. It's a three step stamp which helps you create the most adorable and detailed flowers.

Measurements

Daffodil Delight Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
1pc - 2 1/2" x 1 1/8"

Whisper White Cardstock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 1" x 2 3/8"

Create your card base by folding the Daffodil Delight Cardstock along the score line and add one of the larger pieces of whisper white to the inside.

Take the other large piece of whisper white and randomly cover it with the flower and leaf image. The flower has the parts that you build up to create a full flower. On the plastic sheet the stamps come on, there's a key to follow 1A 1B 1C, so you Stamp a, then b then c directly on top of each other to build up the layers. There's a small point on each of the stamps to help you line it up correctly too. I used Gorgeous Grape and stamped as follows
1A - stamp off twice times
1B - stamp off once
1C - stamp full strength.

Add this panel to the card front. Stamp the sentiment in gorgeous grape and layer onto the Daffodil Delight Cardstock

Posted for You Just a Note Greeting Card

Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Friday - I hope you've all had a fab week, we have been hit by lots of rain so it's limited what we have been able to do, but we have still had fun anyways!

I have made a super pretty and quick card today, just to send to say hello. It looks a lot more difficult than it was.

Just a Note cards are perfect right now just to help keep us all connected in a lovely way!

Measurements

Basic Gray Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
2pc - strips of scraps approx. 1/8" wide.

Whisper White Cardstock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Take one of the pieces of whisper white, and using post it notes, mask off a diagonal strip which is approx. 1 1/2" wide. Now using memento tuxedo black, ink up the flower stamp from Posted for You and stamp it all in between the post it notes. Make sure you stamp over the edge slightly to get a great effect.

Once the ink has dried colour in the flowers and leaves using Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive Blends. Remove the post it notes carefully and you should be left with a nice clean strip of stamping. Now add a strip of the basic gray to either side of the stamping, line it up so it runs along the straight edge that you created with the stamping. trim off the edges so they are flush with the whisper white beneath.

Ink up the sentiment and add to the top right hand corner.

Sometimes, I tend to overthink things, but today I wanted to achieve a very simple and striking card. and I think, I have done that.
