Rooted in Nature, You are Wonderful Greeting Card

Good Morning Everyone,

So today I've not stopped, but I don't feel like I have achieved a huge amount - life with a baby, eh?

I did get a chance to make a card during nap time, I was supposed to have done the ironing, don't tell! Haha

I took out the Rooted in Nature stamp set and the Nature's Root Dies as I haven't used these together for ages.

Measurements

Very Vanilla Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored 5 7/8"
1pc - 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"
1pc - scrap for sentiment

Early Espresso Cardstock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
Scraps for die cuts

Scraps of gold foil for leaves

Create yourcard base by folding the large peice of very vanilla cardstock along the score line, add one off the early espresso pieces to the inside, followed by the panel of very vanilla.

Take the other piece of Early Espresso Cardstock and run it through the layered leaves 3d embossing folder.

Whislt you have your die cutting machine handy, cut out a few of the leaves from Nature's Roots dies in gold foil. Also, heat emboss dome leaves onto the early espresso scraps im gold and cut out.

On the very vanilla scrap stamp the slice of wood in soft suede, stamped off once. Leave this to dry, then heat emboss the sentiment onto the centre in gold. Fussy cut this out and then add to the card front with dimensionals.

Arrange the leaves around the sentiment piece with some liquid glue.

Beautiful Promenade You're Stronger Than Most Greeting Card

Good Evening

I wanted to share this with you, now I kniw it has been recieved.

This is a card that I have sent to a friend, I know she's having a bit of a tough time at the minute and I just wanted her to know I'm here if she needs me.

Measurements

Gorgeous Grape Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8".

Whisper White Cardstock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 1 3/4" x 3 1/4"

Gold Foil
1pc - 4" x 5 3/4"
1pc - 3 3/8" x 1 7/8"

Create your cardbase by folding the Gorgeous Grape Cardstock along rhe score line and add a whisper white piece to the inside and add the larger gold foil piece to the front.

On the other larger piece of whisper white stamp a flowers all around the edge. I used Gorgeous Grape for the Outline and Highland Heather ink for the infill. Add this panel to the front of the card over the gold foil.

On the last piece of whisper white stamp the sentiment in Highland Heather. I have used two seperate stamps for this, just make sure you take your time and concentrate to make sure you get them to line up as If they were one. Then stamp the flowers as before to either side. Layer this onto the last piece of gold foil and add to the centre of the card front.

I'm so Sorry, Mosaic Mood Greeting Card

Good Morning Everyone,

It's Hump Day, half way through another week. I'm having a great week so far, it's starting to feel Christmassy now... I took the decorations down from the attic yesterday and need to finish up with them today. I'll do it when Imogen heads out with Grandma, as I could not make any headway yesterday which her noseying in all the boxes! Haha

Here's my card for today, we have such a wonderful array of DSP and the Mosaic Mood Speciality designer series paper is no exception. This is a really quick and simple card to put together, but because the paper is stunning you get a beautiful card in next to no time.

Take a piece of So Saffron Cardstock that measures 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" and score at 4 1/8" on the long side, fold and burnish. Sponge the edges of the card front lightly with Early Espresso ink. Add a panel of Very Vanilla that has been cut to 5 5/8" x 3 7/8", sponge the edges and add to the inside of the card.

Cut a piece of the Mosaic Mood Speciality designer series paper to 3 3/4" x 5 1/2". I specifically chose this design, because of the butterflies, and made sure I trimmed my paper down to include two. Again, sponge the edges with early espresso ink. Add the sentiment from the 'I Say Hello' stamp set in the bottom right hand corner. Using a blender pen, colour in the heart on the sentiment. I pressed a clear block very lughtly onto my early espresso ink pad to pick up some colour, then I picked up a tiny amount of ink from a block and coloured in the heart. Add this to the card front.

Finally place pearl jewels along the body of both butterflies and there you have a quick and simple card that is sooooo pretty.
