Pressed Petals Scripted Gate Fold Birthday Card

Hey Everyone,

It's Saturday... woo hoo.

Imogen is off to play with Nanny and Grandad today, so Im hoping to whizz round the house quickly qith the vac and then jump right into some solid hours of crafting...

I made today's card using the pressed petals DSP, using a subtle script pattern which I thought was just lovely. Sometimes you need a simple visual, so I used this paper on a gate fold card to add a little interest.

Measurements

Merry Merry Cardstock
1pc - 11" x 6"
1pc - 4 1/4" x 1 3/4"

Crumb Cake Cardstock
1pc - 5 1/2" x 5"
2pc - 2 1/2" x 5 3/4"

Pressed Petals Speciality Designer Series Paper
2pc - 2 1/4" x 5 1/2"
1pc - 1 1/4" x 3 3/4"

Very Vanilla Cardstock
1pc - 1 " x 3 1/2"
1pc - 5 1/4" x 4 3/4"

First stamp the sentiment in Merry merlot onto the 1" strip of very vanilla.

Pop your largest piece of Merry Merry into your simply scored on the long side score at 2 3/4" and 8 1/4". Fold the left hand panel towards the right and the right hand panel to the left. The edges should line up in the centre. Burnish well with a bone folder to get crisp folds.

All you need to do now is layer up all your pieces. The square ish pieces go inside the card and the larger rectangles decorate the 'gates'.

Finally layer up the sentiment pieces and adhere to the card. Add dimensionals to the left hand side only and dont go pat the centre point. Close the 'gates' and adhere to the centre of the card. Making sure that the adhesive is only stuck down to the left hand panel, if you go over this you will stick the card closed.

Garden Lane Cute Little Tea Light Box

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all well, I plan on spending most of my day playing with Imogen, stealing and hour or so in the craft room when she's napping.

Today I have this cute little cube decorated beautifully with the Garden Lane DSP with a pop of Petals flower.

Measurements

Mossy Meadow Cardstock
1pc - 8" x 6 1/4"

Garden Lane Designer Series Paper
5pc - 1 5/8" x 1 5/8"

You will also need some scraps of whisper white and flirty flamingo

Take you piece of mossy meadow cardstock  and score on the long side at  1", 2 3/4", 4 1/2" and 6 1/4", then on the short side at  1", 2 3/4" and 4 1/2". Fold and burnish the score well with a bone folder.

Cut away sections so that you end up with a shape like this...

Take your DSP panels and adhere them as below. Four panels need go the right way up and the one on its own needs to go upside down as the picture...

Put a small thumb notch into the third panel from the right, this will help open the box without any bother.

Run a piece of tear and tape along the tab you create at the end of the DSP run and adhere to the opposite end. At the bottom fold in the sides and the back and adhere the front panel down on top.

On your scrap whisper white stamp a flower from the pop of petals stamp set and punch out with the four petal flower punch. Also cut a flower in flirty flamingo. With a bone folder curl the petal of the stamp image inward and the cardstock piece under and offset layer these. Pop a clear faceted gem to the centre of the and add this to the lid of the box.

Vibrant Vases Celebrate Every Tiny Victory Card

Good Morning,

I have a lovely card for you today which was made for a challenge on Cherry Crafting Club over on Facebook, run by Louise, who is a really nice lady and is very talented. The theme for this fortnight is BLUE.

Using Blueberry Bushel cardstock create a cardbase, and add a piece DSP in Balmy Blue from the Subtles stack.

On scraps of whisper white stamp some of the vases. I used blueberry bushel for the outline and balmy blue for the infil. Cut out with vases builder punch, as well as three flower heads in blueberry bushel.

Also stamp some of the flowers and fussy cut these.

Ink up a small part of the stem and stamp three times in the centre of the card. With dimensionals adhere the vases and flowers down.

Finally, stamp the sentiment and layer onto some cardstock then add to the card front under the vases.
