Tile Garden Happiest Birthday Card. Monochromatic Instagram Hop - Night of Navy 2026

 Good Morning Everyone,

On Friday I hopped with the Fabulous Crafty Collaborations group for our weekly Monochromatic Insta Hop and this week we are showcasing Night of Navy. This has been around for a long time - it's one of the very few that have been around since 1997. It's easy to see why, it's a fabulous colour and one of my most used shades.

I have used the Tile Garden stamp set to create a pretty background, and a focal image for my card, and how lovely is the sentiment. 

Measurements

Night of Navy Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

1pc - 1 3/4" x 3 3/4"

1pc - 1 1/4" x 2 3/4"

Basic White Card Stock

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 1 1/2" x 3 1/2"

1pc - 2 1/2" x 1"

Take the Night of Navy card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding one of the Basic White pieces to the inside.

Ink up the the leaves and flower heads in Night of navy and stamp them all over the remaining large piece of Basic White creating a lovely piece of custom DSP.

Stamp a single flower and stem onto the 1 1/2" piece of Basic White and then the sentiment onto the remaining piece.

 I love this stamp because it is a Distinktive stamp - meaning the image has a special texture, it's not solid, so that you get depth and texture from a single stamp - genius,right?

Add the larger panel to the card front, layer up the other two stamped pieces onto the coordinating mats and then arrange on the card front. I used liquid glue to stick down the flower and dimensionals to adhere the sentiment.

Finally, add a pearl embellishment to the centre of the focal flower head.

Super easy. minimal supplies and a great effect! I love creating this card and I think it would look awesome in many many other colourways - which I cannot wait to try, so keep your eyes peeled for them coming soon.
