Good Morning Everyone,
I hope you are all well. Today I'm bringing you the second sketch in my Mary's Sketches series.
A fabulous lady called Mary has a blog called Cards TV and she releases sketches. Now, if you have been following me for some time you may remember #33sketches - a mini series Donna, Karen and I did a few years ago. Well, this is that same set of sketches, except now Mary is up to sketch number 64 I think. So there's plenty for me to go at.
Following sketch layouts is a great way to keep up motivation, and also maybe push yourself out of your usual format. I'm really looking forward revisiting some of the earlier sketches, and creating for the newer ones too.
This card showcases the fabulous Turtle-y Cute DSP, adding in a little stamping from Darling Dinos and Choose Happy.

1pc - 1/2" x 2 1/4"
----------------------------------------------------
Take your Garden Green Cardstock and fold along the score line and add the larger Basic white panel to the inside.
Take the piece of DSP and cut on the short side at 1 1/2". Then cut each strip at 1 3/4" from the top. Place these on the card front, making sure you leave a nice even border around all the sides. Also, pay attention to the pattern on the paper and make sure you adhere the pieces down so the pattern continues across the card front.
Ink up the Sun from Choose Happy in Crushed Curry ink and stamp in the top right hand corner of the remaining piece of Basic White. Layer this to the Garden Green mat layer and add to the card front. Now add the fussy cut images to create a little scene on the Basic White piece.
On the strip of Basic White stamp the sentiment from Darling Dinos in Garden Green ink, layer this to the Garden Green strip and add to the card front
