Good Evening Everyone,
Today I'm taking Part in the Smart Stampin International Hops over on Instagram. This month out theme is 'The Annual Catalogue', and yes you've guessed it - I'm using the Beautiful Gallery Suite.
I genuinely cannot get enough of the suite, it's so versatile and I just keep getting more and more ideas the more I use it. Today I was feeling very vintage. It was really nice to create all that visual texture and depth with just a few layered frames and the fab flourish stamp which sits behind a softly coloured flower!
What do you think?

-----------------------------------------------
Take the Pecan Pie card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the Basic Beige panel to the inside.
Ink up the flourish stamp in Crumb Cake ink and cover the whole of the front of the card base. I overlapped and roughly stamped to give lots of depth and texture - it doesn't have to be perfect as a lot of it does get covered.
Bring in your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and cut the Crumb cake card stock using the Rectangular frame die. You can pop the smallest rectangle out of the way to use on a future project.
Take the same flourish stamp from earlier, but this time ink up in Pecan Pie ink and stamp all around the larger frame. Space this out this time so you can clearly see the detail.
Load up a blending brush with Pecan Pie ink and add some ink all around the edge of the smaller frame.
Angle the smaller frame behind the larger frame, keeping the larger piece straight. add a small piece of tear and tape to the back to hold these pieces exactly where you want them, then adhere down to the card front.
Stamp the larger floral stem in Pecan Pie ink onto a scrap of Basic Beige card stock. Cut out using the coordinating die. Use Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends to colour in in the stem and leaves. Colour in your flower heads using the Flirty Flamingo and Crushed Curry Watercolour Pencils - I chose these to give a softer colour and finish - but you could use blends if you would prefer.
Add this to the centre of the card front using dimensionals.
On another piece of Basic Beige scrap, stamp the sentiment in Pecan Pie, trim and then add some ink around the edges with your blending brush. Add this to sit over the stem of the flower.
I hope you have enjoyed my card - it was so much fun playing around with these bundles and creating a vintage inspired card.
