Good Afternoon Everyone,
I many who have followed me for a while will know, I LOVE to colour. I find it so relaxing and therapeutic. Honestly, I could colour all day.
Today I'm sharing a card I made using the Gallery Blooms Stamp set, and how I created my own DSP. It's so simple to do, and you can create the most amazing unique and bespoke pieces!
Measurements
Basic Black Card Stock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4" , scored at 5 7/8"
Basic White Card Stock
2pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
1pc - 3 3/4" x 5 1/2"
1pc - scrap
----------------------------------------
Take the Basic Black card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base - adding one of the larger pieces of Basic White to the inside, and the other to the card front.
Ink up the small floral cluster in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and cover the remaining piece of Basic White.
Once the ink is dry, colour in the images with Stampin Blends. I used Light Flirty Flamingo & Light Melon Mambo and the leaves with Dark Shaded Spruce & Light Granny Apple Green. Now, using your Black Stampin' Write Marker colour in all the remaining white space - this helps give you a dramatic finish.
Add this to the card front, on top of the plain basic white panel.
On a scrap of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from Layering Leaves in Memento ink and the cut it out with the To the Point Punch. Using your Blending Brush and your Flirty Flamingo ink, add a light touch around the edges.
Pop some dimensionals onto the back and adhere this toward the lower right of your card.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today - I absolutely loved creating it.
Here's a list of supplies I used in today's project, click on the images to head over to my online store - The Layering Leaves set is on our Last Chance list, so if it's on your list - then make sure you grab it whilst you can.
